The American Wine Society's national conference is in Winston Salem November 1, 2024. We were honored to be included in the highlight video of the NC wine industry sent to their participating chapters and members. Petit Manseng is a beautiful white grape from the Jurancon area of southwest France. With its loose clusters and small berries, it tends to be more disease resistant. It is remarkable in its great capacity to concentrate sugar in its berries during ripening while maintaining extremely high acidity. Tanner says that while Petit Manseng always does well, the 2022 is special. One of our most awarded wines, it is a wonderful food friendly wine to enjoy with scallops, lobster and even fried chicken. 

Cabernet Franc is a classic French grape and one of our favorites. It is one of the most important grapes of the Bordeaux and thrives in our vineyard. Three French clones provide wonderful diversity to this wine. The 2019 vintage has superior quality fruit which led to a decision to include slightly more oak than normal on the vintage. Tanner says "still the best Cab Franc fruit I have ever worked with."
